A Firefox fork for serious work
A browser at your command.
Native blocking, site-aware dark mode, custom vertical and horizontal tab surfaces, workspaces, vim navigation, session history, and egress auditing live in the browser—not in an extension collection.

Unaltered public screenshot from the Gjoa source repository. This frame labels the image; it does not add simulated browser controls.
Built into the browser
A working environment, not a pile of add-ons.
Each page below either quotes the public source claim behind the feature or labels its claim as ours, and every page states the limits. Website diagrams are labeled; product imagery uses the real public screenshot.
Vertical tabs
Vertical tree tabs keep related pages together, in a sidebar beside the page.
Horizontal tabs
A second tab surface runs the classic top-row layout, switchable from vertical at any time.
Workspaces
Named tab spaces keep working contexts separate and persist across session restore.
Keyboard navigation
Modal navigation, remappable bindings, and commands bring keyboard-driven movement into the browser.
Session history
Gjoa describes searchable, append-only session history as part of the browser.
Native dark mode
Pre-paint darkening targets light sites while preserving themes that already declare themselves dark.

Build from public source
Current source identifies itself as 0.4.2.
The practical local build uses gjoa-quickbuild. Release artifacts are portable builds and do not use -march=native.
